Responsibility

  • Install, configure, and maintain network devices including switches, routers, access points, and firewalls across on-site and remote locations.
  • Monitor network performance and respond to incidents using tooling such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and hardware failures in a timely manner.
  • Manage IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and routing policies to support business requirements.
  • Implement security controls (ACLs, VPNs, firewall rules) and assist with access control and policy enforcement.
  • Assist with site surveys, cabling planning, rack and patching, and hardware installation/maintenance.
  • Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures; maintain up-to-date runbooks and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and clients to ensure service levels and project milestones are met.

Qualification

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in network administration or a network technician role.
  • CCNA or equivalent networking certification; CompTIA Network+ accepted.
  • Practical experience with Cisco/Aruba switches and routers; familiarity with WAN technologies and VPNs.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and IP routing.
  • Experience with wireless networks (802.11ac/ax) and AP deployment and management.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools and basic scripting or automation skills a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to lift equipment up to 50 lbs and travel to client sites as needed; valid driver's license required.
