Skyline IT Solutions is seeking a skilled Network Technician to support and maintain our clients' network infrastructure. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, monitor performance, and ensure security and reliability across LAN/WAN environments.

Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) across wired and wireless environments.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Assist with network design, capacity planning, VLAN/Subnetting, and documentation.
- Implement and verify security controls (VPNs, ACLs, firewall policies) and ensure compliance.
- Provide on-site and remote support for field technicians and end users.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, topologies, and device configurations.
- Support VoIP, wireless networks, DNS/DHCP, and basic IP routing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors; participate in change management processes.
Qualification
- 1-3 years of hands-on network support experience; internships acceptable for entry-level candidates.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching/routing, VLANs, and IP addressing.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, etc.).
- Hands-on experience configuring Cisco IOS/ASA or equivalent equipment; familiarity with Juniper is a plus.
- Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python) are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to lift/move equipment and travel to client sites; valid driver's license.
