Responsibility

  • Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment including routers, switches, wireless access points, and VPN devices.
  • Monitor network performance, perform capacity planning, and implement optimization strategies to reduce latency and downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network outages with a structured, methodical approach.
  • Manage network documentation, change control, and asset inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with firewall and security policy administration; participate in vulnerability remediation and incident response.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and service desk teams to support continuous service delivery.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for network-related issues and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualification

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring and maintaining enterprise network devices (Cisco/Juniper or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark, PRTG) and ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with firewall policies, VPN technologies, and basic security best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN/WAN and cloud connectivity.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA or equivalent) preferred; CCNP/CompTIA Network+ a plus.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and occasional after-hours maintenance windows.
