Aurora Networks is seeking a proactive Network Technician to join our growing IT operations team in Seattle.
In this role, you will install, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure high availability for our clients. You will work with routers, switches, wireless controllers, and security devices, following industry best practices and change control procedures.

Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance, perform fault isolation, and resolve outages with minimal downtime.
- Implement secure remote access solutions and manage VPN configurations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, software updates, and hardware upgrades.
- Document network topology, configurations, change logs, and runbooks for support teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams on network design and capacity planning.
- Provide on site and remote technical support to clients, with clear communication and timely ticket closure.
Qualification
- 2 years of experience in network operations or a network technician role
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, DHCP and DNS
- Experience with Cisco or other enterprise network gear and basic CLI skills
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and incident response
- Understanding of security principles and firewall/VPN configurations
- CCNA or equivalent certification is preferred; additional certifications a plus
