Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment (switches, routers, firewalls) across multiple sites.
- Monitor network performance using NMS and respond to incidents to minimize downtime.
- Perform security best practices, access control, and firewall rule reviews.
- Assist with VPN, remote access, and site-to-site connectivity.
- Document network topology, IP addressing, devices, and change logs.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and field teams to execute network projects.
- Provide hands-on support for Wi-Fi deployments and troubleshooting.
- Assist with cable management, patch panels, and asset inventory.
Qualification
- 2+ years of relevant network technician or administrator experience.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANs.
- Experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS or similar network operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with VPN, firewall rules, and security concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot wired and wireless networks; strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification preferred; CCNA a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and participate in on-site and remote deployment activities as needed.
