Join Ninja Van, a leading player in Singaporeâs fast-growing logistics and parcel-delivery network. We are expanding our Night Operations team and seeking dependable individuals for the role of Night Parcel Sorter. This part-time position runs from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM and is based in Ang Mo Kio. In this role, youâll be at the heart of the overnight sorting process, ensuring items are correctly sorted for next-day delivery. Youâll handle parcel intake, scanning, labeling, and routing, and youâll help maintain an organized workspace to keep pace with demand. Your attention to detail will help prevent misroutes and delays, and youâll collaborate with drivers and night colleagues to ensure smooth handoffs at the end of your shift. Responsibility
- Sort and categorize parcels according to destination and courier service to ensure accurate routing.
- Scan barcodes and verify parcel details using handheld devices or computer systems for tracking accuracy.
- Prepare parcels for sorting by labeling, separating by service level, and organizing the workspace for efficiency.
- Load and unload parcels from sorting belts, pallets, and cages while following safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sorting area; follow FIFO and prioritization rules during peak periods.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure timely handoffs and smooth dispatch of shipments.
- Log discrepancies, report damaged items, and assist with basic inventory checks as needed.
Qualification
- Minimum age 17, with legal eligibility to work in Singapore.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and perform light to moderate lifting and manual handling.
- Willingness to work night shifts (9:00 PM â 6:00 AM) and commit to a regular schedule.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good basic literacy and numeracy, with the ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
- Team player with clear communication and a positive attitude.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or parcel sorting is a plus but not required.
- Respect for safety guidelines and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean work area.
