As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to a fast-paced operation that handles receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping with accuracy and efficiency. You will work with modern warehouse technology and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily deadlines.
Responsibility
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality.
- Use handheld RF scanners to identify, count, and update inventory records.
- Sort, store, and organize inventory in designated locations to optimize space and access.
- Pick, pack, and label orders with care to ensure correct items and packaging standards.
- Prepare orders for shipment, verify shipping details, and coordinate with carriers as needed.
- Operate or assist in operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts where certified) following safety procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation and reporting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, aligning with company security and safety policies.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of warehousing or distribution experience preferred.
- Ability to operate handheld RFID/RF scanner and basic warehouse software; training provided for new systems.
- Forklift certification is preferred or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
