Responsibility
- Assist licensed nurses in routine patient care tasks and clinical support activities.
- Monitor and record basic patient vital signs under supervision.
- Help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and hygiene needs.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms, beds, and medical equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
- Support infection control practices and safe disposal of waste and sharps.
- Accurately document care activities and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient comfort.
- Maintain stock levels of basic supplies and assist with inventory management.
Qualification
- High school graduate or equivalent; vocational training in nursing aide or caregiver is preferred.
- Basic understanding of nursing assistant duties and patient safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams and patients.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform routine patient care tasks, including lifting and assisting patients.
- Willingness to work in shifts and in public healthcare facilities in the Bicol Region.
- Detail-oriented with good record-keeping abilities and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions, protocols, and privacy guidelines (HIPAA-equivalent standards in the local context).
