Job description
Aurora Commerce is seeking an experienced Online Store Manager to lead end-to-end store operations for our growing e-commerce platform. This is a hands-on, data-driven role that combines merchandising, inventory planning, vendor coordination, and customer experience optimization.
As Online Store Manager, you will own the performance of our online storefronts, drive revenue growth, and implement scalable processes that elevate efficiency and profitability.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations across Shopify and WooCommerce, including product catalog management, pricing, promotions, and content updates.
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize conversions and average order value.
- Manage inventory forecasting, replenishment, and vendor relationships to minimize stockouts and excess.
- Analyze store performance using Google Analytics 4 and platform reports; run experiments and A/B tests to improve KPIs.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure a seamless customer journey from discovery to post-purchase support.
- Establish and maintain SOPs for onboarding, product launches, returns, and quality control; lead process improvements across the store.
- Prepare monthly performance reports, present insights to leadership, and translate data into actionable plans.
Qualification
- 3+ years of online store management or ecommerce operations experience on Shopify or WooCommerce.
- Proven track record in merchandising, pricing strategy, promotions, and inventory management.
- Strong technical proficiency with Shopify, WooCommerce, product data management, and CMS platforms.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using Google Analytics 4, Shopify reports, and data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage vendors, suppliers, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action.
