Join Seven Seven Global Services, Inc. as an Open System Developer in a hybrid role based at our Makati site. You will design, build, and maintain automation scripts that streamline data handling and file transfer processes while supporting key system integrations across the enterprise. This position blends development, operations, and collaboration to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that power core business workflows.
As part of our technology team, you will work closely with IT, DevOps, and business partners to automate routine tasks, monitor scheduled jobs, and troubleshoot issues in a production environment. You will contribute to the design and implementation of integration points between in-house systems and external partners, ensuring data quality, security, and high availability. Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts to streamline data workflows and file transfer processes.
- Oversee scheduled transfers (FTP/SFTP and API-based) and monitor job executions; troubleshoot failures and ensure data integrity.
- Support system integrations between internal applications and external partners, including API and data mapping workstreams.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to implement reliability, monitoring, and incident response measures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases for operations and support teams.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience developing automation scripts and managing file transfer processes in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash; comfortable with Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of system integration concepts, APIs, data formats (JSON, XML), and middleware fundamentals.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management; understanding of basic security principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and teamwork skills.
