Join Grab's Driver Acquisition and Onboarding team in the Philippines as an Operations and Finance Specialist. This role combines financial operations, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for driver and rider-partners on the Grab platform. You will partner with the Driver Acquisition, Onboarding, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to manage budgets, performance metrics, and operational workflows that scale with our growing partner network in Metro Manila and beyond. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing efficient onboarding workflows, tracking and reporting key performance indicators, assisting in monthly close and financial planning activities, and supporting vendor and partner relationships. You will help ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, while identifying opportunities to automate routine tasks and reduce cycle times. You will act as a liaison between operations and finance to provide accurate data for decision making and to drive continuous improvement across the driver acquisition lifecycle.
Qualifications include a strong sense of ownership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, experience with financial systems or ERP, and familiarity with procurement and vendor management are a plus. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Filipino is a bonus. Responsibility
- Own and optimize onboarding and driver onboarding processes to ensure a smooth partner activation from signup to live status.
- Monitor and report onboarding metrics (cycle time, activation rate, cost per partner) and present insights to senior leadership.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls for onboarding programs, including expense tracking and cost optimization.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement for onboarding services, including payment processing and contract compliance.
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure policies are followed and risks mitigated.
- Drive process improvements through automation, data quality initiatives, and system enhancements.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects related to partner acquisition and onboarding.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in operations finance, accounting, or business analytics (tech/fintech experience preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel/Google Sheets; dashboards (Looker/Tableau) a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; Filipino language is a plus; willingness to work in the Metro Manila area.
- Knowledge of the Philippine market or startup environment is advantageous.
