Job description
We are seeking an Outpatient Coding Appeals Specialist to join our team in Manila City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will review medical records, payer policies, and coding guidelines to support appeal arguments and ensure accurate coding for outpatient services.
Responsibility
- Review medical records and coding to identify appeal opportunities
- Analyze payer policies and coding guidelines
- Prepare and submit appeal letters and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather additional information
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coding standards
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS)
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient coding experience
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
