We are seeking a motivated Penang-based Aesthetic Clinic Nurse / Clinic Assistant to join our patient-focused team. In this role, you will work closely with our clinicians to support a range of aesthetic treatments, including skin therapies and non-invasive procedures. You will be responsible for patient intake, preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring strict infection control standards. You will also manage scheduling, maintain patient records, and provide clear aftercare guidance to clients.

Requirements include a recognized nursing or clinic assistant qualification, excellent communication skills, the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced clinic, and a willingness to learn about the latest aesthetic trends and technologies. Previous experience in aesthetics is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Responsibility
- Provide clinical support during aesthetic procedures under supervision, including preparation, draping, and instrument handling.
- Assist licensed clinicians with injections, laser and equipment setup as required, ensuring patient safety.
- Greet and document patient intake, verify medical history, obtain informed consent, and manage patient flow in the clinic.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control and inventory management.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during procedures and provide post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure timely documentation of procedures and outcomes.
- Educate clients on aftercare, skincare routines, and product recommendations to support optimal results.
Qualification
- Certified nursing qualification or equivalent; or clinical assistant diploma; relevant experience in medical aesthetics preferred.
- Strong patient care and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control; ability to work with sterile equipment.
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification is an advantage, with willingness to train.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinic and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Malay, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Willingness to learn about latest aesthetic trends, devices, and skincare products.
