Kozystay is actively seeking a proactive Pest Control Specialist to join our hospitality operations in Bali. This contract role is essential to sustaining clean, safe, and pest-free environments across our properties, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and regulatory compliance.
As a Pest Control Specialist, you will apply integrated pest management (IPM) strategies, perform regular inspections, and coordinate preventive measures with housekeeping and facilities teams. You will handle safe pesticide applications in accordance with local regulations, maintain detailed records, and communicate findings clearly to operations leadership.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with property teams to identify pest hotspots, implementing sanitation improvements, monitoring bait stations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in multiple properties across Bali, and a commitment to discreet, guest-facing service.
Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections across guest rooms, kitchens, service areas, laundry, pools, and exterior spaces to identify pest activity.
- Develop and implement IPM-based treatment plans, selecting safe, effective products and methods in accordance with local regulations.
- Document inspections, treatments, and preventive measures; maintain accurate records for audits and reporting.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and security teams to address pest activity and reduce recurrence.
- Respond promptly to pest sightings or infestations, providing on-site interventions and post-treatment follow-ups.
- Inventory management for pesticides and equipment; ensure proper storage, maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Provide staff training and awareness on pest prevention, sanitation practices, and safe chemical handling.
- Assist in vendor and regulatory communications as needed to ensure compliance with health and environmental standards.
Qualification
- Proven experience in pest control, preferably in hospitality, hotel, or resort environments.
- Certification in pesticide application or pest control per local regulations (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of IPM principles, pest identification, and safe application methods.
- Familiarity with Indonesian health, safety, and environmental regulations related to pesticides and waste disposal.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and guest-service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel between properties as needed in Bali.
- Physical stamina to perform fieldwork, lift equipment, and work in varied settings.
- Fluency in English; preference for Bahasa Indonesia or local language skills.
