Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication inventories, and patient information.
- Receive, label, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies in compliance with company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Support the compounding, packaging, and labeling of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy workspace.
- Monitor and track inventory levels, including stock expiry dates and reorder needs.
- Follow all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe and effective pharmacy operations.
Qualification
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; a Diploma in Pharmacy or related field is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and relevant medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Proficient in computer and point-of-sale systems.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
