Responsibility

  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, labeling, and packaging to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Manage daily inventory, restock shelves, and monitor medication expiry dates to minimize waste.
  • Process prescriptions and customer orders, verify patient information, and handle payment processing as applicable.
  • Provide courteous, knowledgeable customer service at the counter, addressing questions and offering product information.
  • Maintain precise records in the pharmacy management system and protect patient confidentiality.
  • Support basic compounding or preparation of non-sterile medications under supervision, following safety protocols.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, safety policies, and cleanliness guidelines to maintain a compliant pharmacy environment.

Qualification

  • Pharmacy-related degree or equivalent credential (Pharmacy Assistant, Pharmacist Technician, or related diploma).
