Responsibility
- Lead independent and collaborative research on ethics of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
- Publish high-quality articles, books chapters, and technical reports in peer-reviewed venues.
- Present findings at internal seminars and international conferences; translate insights into policy and industry guidance.
- Design and teach graduate seminars; supervise research assistants and graduate students.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate ethical analyses into product development and policy proposals.
- Prepare grant proposals and manage funded projects, including progress reporting and budget oversight.
- Contribute to internal ethics review processes and organizational governance.
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or closely related field with emphasis on ethics, philosophy of technology, or AI ethics.
- Strong research record with publications in ethics or philosophy of technology.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous conceptual analysis and apply insights to real-world contexts.
- Experience with grant writing and managing research projects is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Teaching or mentorship experience; commitment to inclusive pedagogy and diverse scholarship.
- Proficiency with research tools and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
