Join the Nova Institute for Philosophy & Ethics as a full-time Philosophy Researcher & Editorial Lead. You will advance scholarly inquiry, oversee publication workflows, and translate complex philosophical ideas into accessible, rigorous content for academic and public audiences.

Responsibility
- Conduct advanced philosophical research across ethics, epistemology, logic, and political philosophy, synthesizing findings into publishable work.
- Lead editorial planning, manage submissions, peer review, and revision cycles to ensure timely, high-quality output.
- Coordinate with faculty, researchers, and external contributors to develop books, journals, policy briefs, and digital content.
- Create and oversee research briefings, blog posts, op-eds, and public-facing materials that maintain scholarly rigor while remaining accessible.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of citations, references, and factual claims across all publications.
- Represent the institute at conferences, seminars, and public events to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
- Mentor junior researchers and graduate students; cultivate an inclusive, collaborative research culture.
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or a closely related field; or an equivalent, demonstrable research track record.
- 5+ years of research and academic writing experience with a strong publication record.
- Expertise in ethics, epistemology, logic, or political philosophy; demonstrated ability to integrate theory with real-world issues.
- Proven experience in editorial workflows, peer review management, and scholarly formatting standards (APA/Chicago style).
- Exceptional writing and editing skills; ability to tailor complex ideas for diverse audiences including academics and policymakers.
- Strong project management, organization, and collaboration skills; comfortable leading cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with research databases, bibliographic software, and qualitative analysis tools.
