Private Advertiser is actively seeking a dedicated Chinese speaking phlebotomist and nurse to join a private clinical team in Kuala Lumpur. This full time position offers a stable salary starting at RM 4500 per month, with opportunities for growth based on performance. The role operates on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm in the vibrant Bukit Bintang area, delivering a supportive work environment focused on patient care and clinical excellence. As a key member of the clinical team, you will perform phlebotomy procedures such as venipuncture and capillary collection, assist with nursing tasks, ensure accurate specimen handling and labeling, and maintain strict infection control practices. You will collaborate with physicians, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely, accurate test results and high quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include accurate documentation in electronic health records, effective patient communication, and contributing to a positive patient experience in a fast paced private clinic setting.

Responsibility
- Perform phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary blood collection following standard safety protocols
- Provide nursing support and patient care during visits, including vital signs, triage, and post procedure instructions
- Accurately label, process, and transport specimens to the medical laboratory ensuring chain of custody
- Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and adhere to infection control and PPE guidelines
- Document patient information, procedures, and test orders in the electronic health record accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients and families in Chinese to explain procedures and address concerns
- Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and assist with routine clinical tasks as needed
- Assist with basic nursing duties and immunizations as licensed and required
Qualification
- Valid certification as a phlebotomist or licensed nursing qualification in Malaysia
- Minimum 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or clinical nursing preferred
- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and specimen handling
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) with strong communication skills
- Excellent patient service orientation and empathy
- Knowledge of electronic health records and basic medical documentation
- Strong adherence to safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, in a fast paced clinic environment
