Responsibility

  • Plan, design, and execute advanced experiments in quantum materials or optical physics, ensuring rigorous controls and reproducibility.
  • Develop and maintain data analysis pipelines using Python, MATLAB, or Julia; implement statistical methods to extract insights from experimental results.
  • Collaborate with engineers to translate experimental outcomes into scalable prototypes and experimental setups.
  • Interpret results, prepare technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Mentor junior researchers, supervise lab operations, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to grant proposals and technical white papers.
  • Prototype and optimize instrumentation, including lasers, detectors, cryogenics, and related measurement systems.

Qualification

  • PhD in Physics or a closely related field; postdoctoral experience is a plus.
  • Strong background in experimental physics, preferably in quantum materials, photonics, or condensed matter.
  • Hands-on expertise with laboratory instrumentation, data acquisition, and alignment of complex optical/electronic systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and programming (Python, MATLAB, or Julia); experience with machine learning a plus.
