Responsibility
- Conduct rigorous policy research and analysis to inform the design and evaluation of municipal programs.
- Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and budgetary implications to track program outcomes.
- Collaborate with city agencies, non-profits, and community groups to assess needs and coordinate initiatives.
- Prepare briefing memos, impact assessments, and policy recommendations for senior leadership and elected officials.
- Manage project timelines, risk registers, and cross-functional teams to deliver on commitments.
- Support public communications, stakeholder engagement, and transparency initiatives.
- Lead data-driven evaluations, publish reports, and present findings to diverse audiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field; Masterβs degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in public policy, government program management, or public budgeting; experience in local government is a plus.
- Strong analytical and research skills with experience in quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Proficiency with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL).
- Familiarity with budgeting processes, grants, procurement, and performance reporting; knowledge of city budget cycles is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative, adaptive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic public sector environment.
