Responsibility
- Provide high-quality primary health care to employees and local community members at the clinic, including preventive services and acute care.
- Perform patient evaluations, diagnose conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Administer vaccinations, health screenings, and routine clinical procedures as appropriate.
- Manage chronic diseases, monitor patient progress, and adjust therapies as needed.
- Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and medication safety; lead health promotion initiatives.
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate referrals to specialists when required.
Qualification
- Medical degree with a valid Indonesian medical license to practice (izin praktik)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient or polyclinic settings
- Strong diagnostic and decision-making abilities with sound clinical judgment
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered care
- Proficiency with medical records systems and basic information technology
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced clinic
- Fluency in Indonesian; English proficiency is advantageous
- Knowledge of local public health practices and preventive care in Kalimantan
