As a Power BI Data Analyst, you will contribute to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights for senior leadership and functional teams.
  • Translate business requirements into data models, data flows, and visualizations using advanced DAX measures and calculated columns.
  • Build and optimize data models, perform data validation, and ensure data accuracy across multiple sources.
  • Integrate data from diverse sources (SQL databases, spreadsheets, cloud services) and implement governance and security controls on BI content.
  • Automate data refresh processes, schedule reports, and optimize query performance to ensure timely delivery of insights.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks; communicate findings with clear storytelling and actionable recommendations.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, data dictionaries, and provide training to end-users for self-sufficiency.

Qualification

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Data Analyst, BI Developer, or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data querying; experience with data warehousing and ETL concepts.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and security concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple priorities; experience with Python/R is a plus.
