In this role, you will own the BI lifecycle for dashboards and data models, from requirements gathering to delivery. You will translate business questions into clear visualizations, implement robust data models using DAX and SQL, and ensure data integrity and performance. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to optimize data sources, automate refreshes, and govern access and security.

Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for the AU client, translating business requirements into actionable insights.
- Build data models using DAX, calculated measures, and optimized relationships to support accurate analytics.
- Connect Power BI to diverse data sources, implement data transformation with Power Query, and ensure reliable data refresh across time zones.
- Implement row-level security, data governance, and security roles to protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize ETL pipelines and data sources, improving performance and reliability.
- Create documentation, user guides, and training materials; provide ongoing support and stakeholder enablement.
- Monitor dashboard performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve visualizations based on user feedback.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and data extracts as needed to support business decisions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or BI Analyst with strong DAX and data modeling skills.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, data gateways, and scheduled refresh.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehouses or SQL-based data stores.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; able to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team and align with AU time zones as needed.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and performance tuning best practices.
