As a key member of our studio, you will deliver flawless skin refinement, color balancing, and trend-forward looks while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professional conduct.
Responsibility
- Consult with clients to understand vision, skin type, and event requirements to plan the makeup look.
- Apply makeup with precision for beauty, bridal, and editorial work, ensuring flawless complexion and color harmony.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and designers to achieve cohesive aesthetics.
- Maintain hygiene: sanitize tools, organize products, and manage a clean workstation.
- Provide on-site touch-ups and corrections during events or shoots to preserve flawless results.
- Stay current with trends, brands, and techniques through ongoing learning and brand partnerships.
- Maintain a detailed look book and update portfolio with recent work.
- Educate clients on skincare prep and aftercare to extend makeup longevity.
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years of professional makeup artistry experience in beauty, bridal, and editorial contexts.
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility across skin tones and lighting conditions.
- Expertise in facial contouring, color theory, and skin prep techniques.
- Proficiency with a wide range of cosmetics and tools, plus strong sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication, client care, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel within the Los Angeles area for events; own transportation preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and tool sterilization standards.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and flexible schedule including weekends.
