Join Apex Print Solutions, a premier commercial print provider in Los Angeles, as our next Print Production Manager. You will lead a dynamic team, oversee digital and offset workflows, ensure color accuracy, and drive on-time delivery for high-profile client campaigns.
In this role you will partner with prepress, operations, and sales to optimize production schedules, manage budgets, and continuously improve quality and efficiency across all print formats.

Responsibility
- Oversee daily print production workflows across digital and offset presses to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with Prepress, Design, and Account teams to optimize job setup and color accuracy.
- Maintain strict quality control, color management (ICC/Pantone), and proofing processes.
- Plan production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor job progress from intake to shipping.
- Manage vendor relationships, consumables procurement, and equipment maintenance coordination.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste, downtime, and costs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Analyze production metrics and prepare regular reports for management and clients.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Print Technology, Graphic Communications, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- 5+ years of experience in print production, with hands-on knowledge of digital and offset printing processes.
- Strong color management expertise, including ICC profiles, Pantone matching, and press calibration.
- Proficiency with RIP software, and experience with printers such as HP Indigo, Heidelberg, or Canon Océ; familiarity with MIS/ERP systems.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
