Join LumenPrint Solutions, a premier commercial printer delivering top-quality offset and digital printing for brands nationwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented Print Production Specialist to manage end-to-end production, color accuracy, and on-time delivery across multi-media projects.
In this role, you will collaborate with design, sales, and operations to shepherd jobs from prepress through finishing, ensuring impeccable quality while optimizing cost and efficiency.
As part of our team, you will drive process improvements, ensure safety and quality standards, and contribute to customer satisfaction from start to finish.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end print production from prepress to delivery, ensuring color accuracy, quality, and on-time performance.
- Collaborate with design, sales, and operations to define job specs, estimates, and milestones.
- Oversee prepress workflows: file preparation, color correction, trapping, proofing, and RIP software management.
- Manage pressroom activities including setup, calibration, makereadies, and changeovers across offset and digital presses.
- Monitor production schedules, capacity, and resource allocation to meet client deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate finishing, binding, warehousing, and shipping with internal teams and vendors.
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience in print production, prepress, or a similar role in commercial printing.
- Strong knowledge of color management (ICC profiles), CMYK/spot colors, proofing, and color accuracy.
- Proficiency with prepress software (Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop; Acrobat) and RIP software.
- Hands-on experience with offset and digital printing technologies and workflows.
- Familiarity with bindery, finishing, packaging, and warehousing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Print Technology or related field preferred.
