BrightLine Printing is recruiting a detail-driven Print Production Specialist to join our Los Angeles team. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end print production, ensuring color accuracy, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards across offset, digital, and large-format workflows. You will collaborate with prepress, design, and operations to streamline production, optimize budgets, and maintain equipment uptime. Responsibility
- Coordinate daily production schedules across offset, digital, and large-format printing to meet client deadlines.
- Review proofs, color accuracy, and substrate specifications; enforce color management standards.
- Collaborate with prepress and design teams to optimize artwork for print and minimize waste.
- Monitor press performance, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate service when needed.
- Estimate job material requirements, control costs, and manage inventory for production orders.
- Ensure quality control checkpoints and final product inspection prior to shipping.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to manage expectations and resolve production issues promptly.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in print production, prepress, or a commercial print shop.
- Strong knowledge of color management (ICC profiles) and substrate/material handling.
- Experience with offset, digital, and large-format printing workflows.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software; familiarity with RIP software is a plus.
- Excellent problem solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and operate standard production equipment.
