Responsibility
- Set up, run, and optimize offset and digital printing presses to meet job specifications.
- Interpret job tickets, color targets, and proofs; manage color accuracy and consistency across runs.
- Prepare substrates, align plates, inks, and coatings; monitor run quality and waste.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with prepress, finishing, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery.
- Conduct quality checks, document results, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Adhere to safety and compliance policies; maintain a clean, organized production area.
Qualification
- 2+ years of commercial printing experience (offset and/or digital) in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of color management, ICC profiles, and basic G7 or similar guidelines.
- Ability to read job tickets, specifications, and proofs; strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with bindery/finishing processes and equipment operation.
- Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and willingness to perform preventive maintenance.
- Excellent time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificates or diplomas are a plus.
