Job description
At Aurora Print Solutions, we seek a detail-oriented Print Production Specialist to manage end-to-end print workflows across digital and offset channels. You will collaborate with design, prepress, production, and logistics teams to deliver high-impact printing projects on time and within budget.
In this role, you will ensure color accuracy, proofs, vendor coordination, and process optimization for packaging, marketing collateral, and commercial print runs. You will partner with clients and internal teams to achieve outstanding print quality and on-time delivery.
Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end print production for digital, offset, and packaging projects from file intake to final shipping.
- Manage color management workflows, proofs, and press checks to ensure accuracy against brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with design, prepress, suppliers, and bindery partners to optimize workflows and reduce cycle times.
- Negotiate vendor quotes, schedule production milestones, and track cost and utilization metrics.
- Create and maintain production specs, job tickets, and documentation for repeatability.
- Identify process improvements, implement best practices, and monitor quality assurance standards.
- Ensure on-time delivery, risk mitigation, and collaboration with logistics for packaging and distribution.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Communications, or related field, or 5+ years’ hands-on print production experience.
- 3+ years in print production, prepress, or packaging operations.
- Strong color management skills with ICC profiles; experience with RIP software and proofing systems.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and prepress workflows (Esko/ArtPro, GMG, or comparable).
- Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and project coordination abilities.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with packaging and specialty finishes (lamination, coating, spot UV) is a plus.
