Join Daikin Indonesia as a Production Supervisor - Assembly and lead the heart of our manufacturing operations in Cikarang Pusat. This role focuses on optimizing and controlling assembly processes to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and ensure on-time delivery of premium Daikin products.
\nAs a hands-on supervisor, you will manage daily line activities, coach a team of operators, and ensure adherence to 5S, GMP, and safety guidelines. You will analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, implement root-cause corrective actions, and support maintenance to minimize downtime. You will also work closely with quality assurance and logistics to align output with customer demand and company targets.

\nKey responsibilities include monitoring Lean metrics, daily performance reviews, and proactive problem solving. You will coordinate with shift leaders to ensure appropriate staffing and to meet production schedules, while maintaining the highest safety standards. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, minimize downtime through planned maintenance coordination, and foster a culture of quality and accountability across the assembly team.
Responsibility
- Lead daily assembly line operations to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, shift assignments, and material flow for efficient production.
- Monitor line efficiency, scrap rate, yield, and OEE; drive continuous improvement.
- Enforce safety, health, and environment (SHE) policies and maintain a 5S workplace.
- Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment readiness.
- Analyze production data, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Logistics to ensure on-time, first-pass quality and on-time delivery.
- Coach and develop operators, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience supervising production in a manufacturing environment (assembly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and root-cause analysis.
- Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MES) and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills; ability to manage diverse teams.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts; physical ability to stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with safety standards and quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, collaborative approach.
