As a Project Architect, you will manage design intent, develop scalable architectural solutions, and drive project milestones from early concept sketches to construction drawings. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to translate requirements into feasible, buildable designs while adhering to budget and schedule constraints. You will oversee the production of construction documents, coordinate BIM models, and ensure compliance with local building codes and authority approvals. Your ability to communicate clearly, problem-solve, and mentor junior staff will be essential as you guide project teams through complex design challenges.

Responsibility
- Lead project delivery from concept design through construction administration, ensuring design integrity, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to develop design solutions that meet program, budget, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation (CDs) for multiple project phases.
- Oversee BIM modeling, clash detection, and coordination with structural, MEP, and civil disciplines.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources; monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, permitting processes and authority approvals; facilitate submissions and inspections.
- Mentor junior architects and specification writers; lead design workshops and client presentations.
- Conduct site visits during construction to verify conformance with drawings and quality standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture; professional licensure/registration in Malaysia is preferred.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project delivery for commercial or institutional projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and other design software; strong technical detailing skills.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities; proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing budgets.
- Portfolio demonstrating design excellence and successful project delivery across multiple phases.
