Maison Interiors and Architecture is seeking a skilled Project Estimator for its Commercial Interior Fit-Out team in Jakarta. This pivotal role focuses on delivering accurate, competitive cost estimates and tender packages for high-quality office, retail, and hospitality interiors. You will partner with design, procurement, and site teams to safeguard budgets while preserving design intent and client satisfaction. As a Project Estimator, you will analyze drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities (BOQ) to develop robust cost plans, risk assessments, and value-engineered options. You will prepare comprehensive tender documentation, conduct bid analyses, and present recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients. Your insights will drive cost controls, budget alignment, and delivery efficiency across multiple projects from concept to handover.
Ideal candidates are detail-oriented with strong numerical abilities, proficient in Excel and estimation software, and comfortable reading AutoCAD and Revit drawings. You should excel in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple bids concurrently, and collaborate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams. Responsibility
- Prepare and manage accurate estimates for commercial interior fit-out projects from concept through tender and construction.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs to develop cost plans and tender documentation.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs, source supplier quotes, and create cost scenarios with value-engineering options.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure budgets align with project goals.
- Manage tender submissions, bid analyses, risk assessments, and client communications.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders; provide regular cost-control reports.
- Develop and maintain standard estimation templates and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards while optimizing value.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project estimation or quantity surveying, preferably in commercial interior fit-out.
- Strong knowledge of measurement, BOQ development, cost planning, tendering, and value engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, and estimation software; ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities; comfortable working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of Indonesian market pricing and regulatory requirements; ability to manage multiple bids.
- Proactive, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
