DB AI Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager to lead strategic IT initiatives for high-profile clients in Malaysia. Based in Puchong, Selangor, you will drive complex technology projects from planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data science, and operations to translate business needs into actionable roadmaps and milestones.
As a key member of our project management office, you will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risks while maintaining quality and governance standards. You will partner with clients such as Touch n Go eWallet, Maybank, Boost eWallet, and Umobile to capture requirements, manage expectations, and deliver outcomes that enable growth and competitive advantage. You will apply formal project management methodologies, embrace agile practices where appropriate, and continuously look for process improvements to optimise delivery velocity and predictability.
Your success will rely on clear communication, proactive stakeholder engagement, and a data driven mindset. You will produce transparent status reports, dashboards, and executive updates to keep leadership informed, and you will mentor junior PMs, shaping a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Responsibility
- Owns end to end project lifecycle from initiation through delivery and closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
- Collaborates with stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations to define scope, success criteria, and milestones.
- Manages schedules, budgets, and resources; tracks progress with transparent reporting and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensures quality standards and governance requirements are met; facilitates change control and governance processes.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and vendors to ensure successful delivery and satisfaction.
- Drives process improvements and best practices for project management within the organization.
- Prepares status updates, dashboards, and post project reviews to capture learnings.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in ICT or technology driven environments.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and PMO processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or Asana; data-driven reporting and analytics skills.
- Fluency in English; Malay language skills are a plus.
