Join CivicSolve Partners as a Public Administration Analyst and help drive policy development, program evaluation, and service delivery in a dynamic public sector environment. This role blends policy analysis, program management, and data-driven decision making to deliver outcomes for communities.
You will collaborate with city agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to analyze complex policies, synthesize findings, and communicate actionable recommendations to executives and frontline staff.
Responsibility
- Lead policy analysis and program evaluation to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
- Develop performance metrics and monitor program outcomes to improve efficiency and equity.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses, budgeting, and financial forecasting for programs and initiatives.
- Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentation materials for diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborate with city agencies, nonprofits, and vendors to support program design and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and data privacy requirements.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and cross-functional coordination to deliver results on schedule.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and clear communication across departments and with the public.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, political science, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the public sector or non-profit policy analysis.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Excel.
- Knowledge of budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis for public programs.
- Experience with program evaluation, performance metrics, and policy research methods.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills; ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with government agencies and stakeholders; security clearance eligibility may be required.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SQL or data analysis is a plus.
