Capital City Public Services is seeking a motivated Public Administration Analyst to advance high-quality, citizen-centered governance. This role supports policy development, program evaluation, and data-driven decision making across city departments.
As a member of the Public Administration team, you will translate complex data into actionable insights, engage stakeholders, and help deliver efficient public services that improve community outcomes.
Responsibility
- Develop and monitor performance metrics and program evaluations to inform policy decisions.
- Collaborate with multiple city departments to implement policy initiatives and service improvements.
- Analyze budgets, expenditures, and funding proposals to optimize resource allocation.
- Prepare clear, concise briefs, reports, and dashboards for executives and public stakeholders.
- Coordinate grant applications, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements.
- Engage with community groups and stakeholders to gather input and communicate policy changes.
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts and transform data insights into practical actions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in public sector analysis, policy design, or program evaluation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel, and experience with data visualization tools
- Familiarity with budgeting, grants management, and financial reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of governance frameworks, compliance, and public accountability
- Proficiency with GIS or other data mapping tools is a plus
