Responsibility
- Develop and analyze policy options to improve citizen services and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with city agencies, elected officials, and community stakeholders to inform policy decisions.
- Prepare budgets, performance metrics, and program evaluations to support governance.
- Monitor regulatory compliance, grant requirements, and procurement processes.
- Lead data-driven research, modeling, and scenario planning to forecast impacts.
- Draft clear reports, memos, and presentations for councils and senior leadership.
- Manage cross-departmental projects, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
- Support program implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in public sector, government, or non-profit organizations.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, R, Python) and statistics.
- Knowledge of budgeting, procurement, grant management, and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Experience coordinating with multiple agencies and community stakeholders.
- Familiarity with policy research methods, performance measurement, and program evaluation.
