We are seeking a results-oriented Public Relations Manager to lead strategic media campaigns, craft compelling narratives, and cultivate lasting relationships with press and influencers. This role blends strategic planning, storytelling, and proactive media outreach to deliver measurable awareness and earned media coverage.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute integrated PR campaigns that align with business goals and launch plans.
- Write press releases, pitch letters, briefing docs, and executive communications that resonate with editors and reporters.
- Build and maintain relationships with national, regional, and trade media across multiple industries.
- Manage media monitoring, coverage analysis, and quarterly PR reporting.
- Drive crisis communications planning and rapid response to protect brand reputation.
- Collaborate with marketing, digital, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and storytelling.
- Oversee junior staff and external partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables and on-time execution.
- Plan and coordinate press events, briefings, and influencer activations to maximize reach.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of public relations experience with proven media relations success.
- Track record of securing feature coverage and earned media in top outlets.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
- Established media relationships in NYC and/or ability to rapidly build a network.
- Experience managing crisis communications and reputation management initiatives.
- Proficiency with PR analytics tools, media monitoring software, and measurement frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and meet tight deadlines.
