Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance client brand visibility across earned, owned, and paid channels.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with national, trade, and local media; secure proactive media placements.
- Craft press materials including press releases, media advisories, op-eds, and briefing documents.
- Lead crisis communications planning and response, including media training for executives.
- Develop and coordinate press events, briefings, product launches, and stakeholder engagements.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage; provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, digital, and executive teams to ensure brand consistency and integrated communications campaigns.
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate with external agencies or vendors as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 5+ years of PR experience in agency, corporate, or nonprofit settings; track record of securing high-impact coverage.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to tailor messages for multiple audiences and channels.
- Proven media relations network and ability to cultivate relationships with journalists and influencers.
- Crisis communications experience with calm under pressure and rapid response.
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with PR analytics tools, media monitoring, and measurement techniques.
- Experience planning and executing events, press conferences, and media briefings; experience with executive media training.
