Responsibility
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define quality goals and acceptance criteria for features.
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test plans and test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Python/JavaScript, and CI/CD integration.
- Perform API testing and validate integration with backend services using tools like Postman or REST tooling.
- Execute regression testing and explore edge-case scenarios to ensure release readiness.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with developers to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Contribute to QA metrics, risk assessments, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software development environments.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with REST API testing, Postman/Newman, and automated API validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to articulate risks and trade-offs.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
