NovaQA Solutions is seeking a results-driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Berlin team. You will own testing strategies across web and API platforms, ensuring releases meet the highest quality standards. This role combines hands-on testing with collaboration across product, engineering, and operations to drive quality from inception to deployment.
As a QA Engineer, you will design test plans, implement automated tests, execute manual testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of our QA processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality is built into every stage of the software lifecycle.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and API products across multiple releases.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test suites (Selenium / Playwright) to accelerate validation.
- Perform thorough manual testing, including regression, exploratory, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and engineers to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality from first line of code to production.
- Maintain test data, environments, and integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines for efficient release cycles.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
- Contribute to QA process improvements, risk assessment, and quality metrics reporting.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software development environments.
- Proficiency with both manual and automated testing, including API testing (Postman/Swagger) and UI automation (Selenium, Playwright).
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Zephyr).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a user-focused mindset.
