We’re seeking a meticulous Quality Control Engineer to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role combines hands-on inspection with data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing lines.
As a QC Engineer, you will partner with Production, Process Engineering, and suppliers to implement robust quality systems, develop inspection procedures, and lead root-cause investigations. If you’re passionate about precision, problem-solving, and elevating quality, we want to hear from you.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality inspection plans and acceptance criteria for all manufactured components.
- Lead incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities using calibrated measuring tools and automated systems.
- Analyze process capability data (Cp/Cpk, SPC) to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design process changes that reduce defects and improve yield.
- Lead non-conforming material investigations and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Document quality issues with clear root-cause analysis and implement effective containment strategies.
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliant quality systems and support internal/external audits.
- Mentor junior QC technicians and provide training on inspection techniques and quality standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; quality-related certifications (ASQ CQE, Six Sigma) a plus.
- 3+ years of hands-on quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably precision or aerospace components.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, root-cause analysis) and statistical data interpretation.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and IPC or industry-specific quality standards.
- Proficiency with measurement equipment (CMM, calipers, micrometers) and data analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills; able to influence decisions with data.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
