Job description
NovaQuality Technologies is seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our expanding QA team in Seattle. You will design and execute test plans, contribute to test automation, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software products.

What you will do with us includes collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Support to ensure customer success and maintain high standards across desktop, mobile, and API services.
Responsibility
- Design, write, maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements
- Develop and execute automated tests for UI, API, and regression suites using modern frameworks
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics
- Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects; verify fixes and perform re-tests
- Participate in design reviews and risk assessments to influence product quality from the start
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and manage test environments and data
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality best practices
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands on QA experience in software development environments
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, manual testing, and test design
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with API testing using Postman, RESTful services, or similar tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills; comfortable working in Agile teams
