Responsibility
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and checklists for new features and releases.
- Design and execute manual and automated test suites to ensure product quality across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria, test data, and risk-based testing strategies.
- Perform API testing and validate integration with backend services (RESTful APIs) and third-party integrations.
- Identify, document, and track defects using our bug-tracking system; work with cross-functional teams to verify fixes and perform re-testing.
- Contribute to test strategy improvements, risk assessments, and continuous quality assurance practices in an Agile environment.
- Participate in release readiness activities, regression testing, and performance testing as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance for software products.
- Strong proficiency in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python or JavaScript).
- Solid knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST) and experience with tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in CI environments (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
- Nice to have: performance testing experience and familiarity with mobile testing strategies.
