Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
- Create and maintain automated test suites using Selenium or similar tools
- Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools; validate data flows and error handling
- Execute manual regression testing and exploratory testing to identify edge cases
- Document defects clearly in Jira and track resolution progress
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless test integration with builds
- Participate in risk assessment and quality metrics reporting
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of quality assurance experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with API testing (REST, GraphQL) and tools like Postman or Insomnia
- Proficiency in SQL and data verification; ability to write basic queries
- Familiarity with Jira, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
