RCC Colab Solutions Inc is actively looking for a results-driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing technology team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This role focuses on delivering robust software, web and mobile solutions that meet business goals and user expectations. You will contribute to all phases of the QA lifecycle, from planning and design through execution and release readiness, collaborating closely with product managers, developers and operations to uphold our quality standards and customer satisfaction.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design, document and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases, and perform both manual and automated tests. You will help shape our QA processes, define quality metrics and support continuous integration and deployment. Your efforts will reduce risk, accelerate delivery, and ensure that features meet acceptance criteria and performance requirements across browsers and platforms.
You will work with modern testing tools and practices, including test automation using popular frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright, API testing with Postman, and diligent defect management in Jira. You will also collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and perform thorough regression testing before each release. A proactive, curious mindset and strong communication are essential for success in our fast-paced, cross-functional team.

Responsibility
- Design, maintain and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and software applications.
- Perform manual testing including functional, regression and exploratory testing to ensure feature readiness.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress or Playwright to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers and UX teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document and track defects with clear steps to reproduce; ensure timely triage and verification.
- Validate APIs and back-end services using tools such as Postman; verify data integrity and security considerations.
- Support continuous integration and deployment by validating builds, releases and QA gates in the CI/CD pipeline.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance or QA engineering experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing, test case design, and defect tracking; attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, RESTful services and basic knowledge of JSON/XML.
- Familiarity with SQL and data validation for backend testing; ability to write simple queries.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and using tools such as Jira and Git in a collaborative setting.
