Responsibility

  • Define and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and checklists for new features, regression cycles, and releases.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Design, write, and maintain high-quality test cases and test data to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, report defects with clear reproducible steps, and verify fixes.
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in CI/CD integration, ensuring tests run reliably in build pipelines and provide fast feedback.
  • Perform risk-based testing and contribute to performance and security testing as needed.
  • Document QA processes, metrics, and quality trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience in software product development.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python).
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect tracking (e.g., Jira).
  • Experience testing APIs (REST/GraphQL), databases/SQL, and a solid understanding of CI/CD concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to articulate risks and trade-offs.
  • Automation-first mindset with a passion for quality and continuous learning; QA certifications are a plus.
