Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Perform regression, functional, API, performance, and exploratory testing to identify defects early.
- Document, track, and verify defects; drive root-cause analysis and ensure timely fixes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test results within the development workflow.
- Advise on QA best practices, contribute to test data management, and help establish quality gates.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software product development.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, and bug life cycle concepts.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright, and experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
- Experience with CI/CD tools ( Jenkins, GitHub Actions ) and version control (Git).
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills; effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with performance testing and security testing concepts is a plus.
