NovaTech Solutions is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing product team. You will design, execute, and automate tests to ensure software quality across web and mobile platforms. Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to deliver reliable, scalable software.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Design and implement test strategies and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product and engineering.
- Identify, triage, and track defects; perform root cause analysis and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in sprint ceremonies to ensure quality goals are met.
- Conduct API testing, performance testing, and accessibility checks; advocate for performance and reliability improvements.
- Analyze quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and QA process enhancements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software development, preferably web and mobile.
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, or Java).
- Solid knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, risk-based testing, and defect tracking tools (Jira, TestRail).
- Experience designing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites and CI/CD integration.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs testing and tools (Postman, Newman); basics of performance testing.
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and security testing basics is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to mentor others.
