NovaBridge Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure our SaaS platform delivers exceptional quality for customers worldwide. You will partner with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, identify defects, and drive quality improvements across the software lifecycle. About the role: You will own the end-to-end quality lifecycle for web applications and APIs, collaborating across cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ship reliable software on time.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain test plans and test cases for web and API features.
- Execute manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with engineering to verify fixes.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Python/JavaScript, and integrate into CI pipelines.
- Define and track quality metrics; contribute to risk assessments and release readiness.
- Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to clarify acceptance criteria and user stories.
- Participate in test data management, environment setup, and test automation strategy.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software or SaaS environments.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and the defect lifecycle.
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Java).
- Experience with API testing (REST/JSON) and tools like Postman or Newman.
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and test automation in modern pipelines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
